Arrow NIGHTFALL: Lack of combo-able NECRO armors!

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Necromancer_armor

NIGHTFALL: Lack of combo-able NECRO armors! I attribute this to the new tribal MUD-SMEARS looks on some of the NIGHTFALL necro armors. Therefore, some of the NIGHTFALL armors don't combo well with the previous Prophecies / Factions armors because they just don't fit the same theme--since Prophecies / Factions necro armors are more clean-cut. I would suggest adding a clean-cut version of the MUD-SMEARED NIGHTFALL necro armors so that necro characters get more armor combination choices. Look at Lonai's armor in Sunspear Sanctuary--no mud-smears and clean cut. Now why can't we have armor like that for nightfall necro armor? All 5 of my pve characters' armors are mixed, so not being able to do this well for nightfall necro armor is disappointing.

As someone stated in your original thread; armor skins are designed for all the pieces from one set to match. Not for every piece of armor to match every other piece of armor from every set of skins. The "mud-smearing" does match the theme of Nightfall and it wouldn't make any sense to change them to match the themes of past campaigns. If you don't like the way certain pieces of armor look when worn in conjunction with your other pieces; then don't craft it. I think it's rediculous to ask the art team to waste their time on something as insignificant as this. Some pieces from the first two campaigns don't mix either; but you don't see anyone asking them to change every piece of armor so they all go together.

So you are saying that we should sacrifice about 90% of the customizability of our characters by getting one and only one armor set, instead of mixing and matching it? It is ridiculos for the devellopment team to go back and waste their time that way though on just one thing, but the necro armor isn't just the only armor with graphical problems. Throughout Factions there is plenty of smaller graphical problems with armors and the way hairs and body types fit on them as well. and there is several big graphical problems in nightfall too aside from the necro armor. I'm not saying that the devellopment team should fix it though, as they put themselves in a hole with the devellopment schedule they made for themselves and it would waste too much time to fix it.

at the very least, these complaints should at least make anet vigilant of potential issues to avoid in future releases.
